Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Inspired Birthday Party

This year for my twins' 5th birthday we went with a Ninja Turtle party theme. We had a joint party with one of their best buds and his daddy's 40th as well. It was a turtle-tastic time with over 30 bouncing kids. The other mom and I had so much fun creating some unique turtle decor. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

We created a cupcake tower using card board boxes wrapped in a gray paper.

Cupcake toppers with turtle images, the turtle mask colors, and green cupcake cups gave us a fun pop of color.

We topped the whole thing with this cute mini cake. I love the turtle heads coming out of the sewer lid. So classic. (It was hot...our cake had a little lean by party time.)

We wanted to stick with primarily greens and grays so I went with the same pallet for the banner. I used a ninja turtle inspired font and a cute graphic of all 4 turtles. Against the gray fabric it was a perfect backdrop.

The centerpieces featured the turtles on a shell background and each of the birthday kids' names and ages. The printable party line has Shredder and Splinter in their places.

My friend found this sewer lid idea on pinterest and spent so much time creating these masterpieces for all 4 birthday people. Amazing! What Ninja Turtle party is complete without a sewer lid? They were a great addition to our table.

These favor bags were so easy and cute. Just a simple mask silhouette cut out of colored paper on a green bag to create ninja turtle faces. We included a Ninja Turtle puzzle, lollipop with turtle sticker, gumball tube with a favor sticker and ninja turtle colored gumballs, Ninja Turtle fruit snack, ninja stars, and my friend's creative genius...chocolate dipped nutter butters to look like masks with a printable treat bag topper.

We created this fun kids table with mini centerpieces and fun place settings.

Each place setting had a green plate, felt eye mask, colored napkin, and a green party cup with a mask sticker to create the 4 turtles. Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leopnardo.

Down the table we had these mini centerpieces with the 4 characters.

On the adult tables my friend made these amazing ninja turtle inspired tissue poms with the matching toy beside.

Happy Birthday Boys!!! Hope you loved your Ninja Turtle Party. I cannot believe you are 5.

You can get this whole set as a printable party line in my store NOW! A matching invite is available as well. Have fun creating your Ninja Turtle inspired party.

Rainbow Art Party

My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday party with her favorite activity... ART! And it seems like all the other 7 year old girls who attended love it as much as she does. We went with a rainbow color palette in stripes and polka dots to make a fun bright party space. This cute easel greeted guests as they arrived.

A bright and cheery table as the focal point was so much fun to create.

This great chalkboard backdrop already in my party space made a great neutral space to showcase my daughter's art.

This colorful paintbrush garland was a perfect find from pinterest to add even more of our theme.

Next came the treats. We went with easy finger food. Rainbow fruit...

Rainbow sprinkle popcorn, and of course these cute favor boxes.

Each box included a rainbow lollipop, crayons, rainbow notepad, and rainbow tube of gumballs.

This fun paint splatter cake was the perfect centerpiece to our display.

Next in the room were several art stations. First was canvas painting. Each station featured these amazing rainbow poms made by a friend and 5M Creations printable centerpiece circles in a paint can. A printable sign with the activity name and of course the tools for that station in clear mini paint cans.

We had extra paint palettes ready to swap out as the girls rotated stations.

Next was a drawing station.

We had self portrait sheets, black paper with chalk, and plain card stock with colored pencils and decorative scissors.

Third was a canvas bag decorating station. We used fabric markers and stencils to create a personalized bag. These held all of their drawings at the previous table to go home.

Last was face painting. This was a great time killer in between rotating of tables. The girls LOVED this activity and kept coming back for  more.

My cute little artist.

The girls' finished projects.

They were all very proud of their creations.

I created a fun rainbow table for the girls to enjoy their treats with died daisies in individual vases, solid color plates, rainbow patterned napkins and cups, and glitter party hats.

Happy Birthday to you...

Of course the inside of the cake had to be rainbow as well. This is such a fun surprise to cut in to.

I love this custom shirt made by a friend.

Happy Birthday sweet girl. I love you! Hope you and your friends had a fun party.

This full printable party line including an invitation is available in my etsy store.

Gender Reveal Party - Little Man or Little Lady?

Back in October we found out the gender of our 4th baby. We celebrated on my 31st birthday with a gender reveal party surrounded by our family and friends. It was so much fun.

I started the party with the "Little Man or Little Lady" saying and a table half blue and half pink.

Using chevron and gray as the neutral palette made the blue bow tie and pink hair bow really pop.

Our 4th little one!

We had blue and pink treats of all kinds.

Cupcakes in polka dot baking cups, dipped pretzels, dipped marshmallows, covered oreos, and yogurt pretzels.

I used a pink and blue curtain to create the split backdrop and of course pink and blue polka dot balloons.

We also had a few other snacks. Fruit with colored marshmallow dip and veggies.

I used the printable cupcake toppers printed on label paper to decorate plain white cups. Add pink and blue straws for a fun drink.

Printable gender reveal water bottle labels.

And of course blue and pink tableware.

I created this fun printable about old wives tale gender predictions. The results were 5 boy to 4 girl.

I had this wipe of board in my kitchen which created a great place for guests to cast their votes. In the end it was WAY more girl to boy.

Guests also got to wear a blue or pink pin to show their vote.

The big brothers and sister wearing shirts by Luna B.

Almost time for the big reveal.

 It's a BOY!

We are excited to welcome boy #3 to our family. I am currently 34+weeks pregnant and on bed rest waiting for our little man to make his appearance. Hope you enjoyed our fun party.

The full printable party line including an invitation will be available in my etsy store when I reopen after maternity leave fall 2014.
