Thinking of you & Sympathy

We have had a number of unfortunate things happen in our family this past week. Matt's Uncle Curt past away after battling cancer and his Auny Betty had a major surgery. While there are never words that are very fitting we wanted these families to know we were thinking of them. Matt asked me to make cards for both his aunts.
Here they are:

This was my first time trying this layout and I have to say I really like it. I used a border punch to create the scallop edge and a corner punch to round the corners of the cards and create the sentiment box.
I love the pop of color with the purple accents. And the soft hues of the blues and greens. They are both so feminine. I have decided that bows are my favorite accent for a card. They really complete the look.

  1. I love the bows too. If you have a lot of ribbon I saw the coolest way to organize it. Let me know if you want the link :)It made me want to buy more ribbon just so I could organize it...
