Valentine's Day cards and treats

So now that Valentine's Day is officially over I can post Matt's card.
This card was fun to make. I used Papertrey Inks Simple Valentine heart stamps in pink and red. I layered a smaller heart in white ink on top of the red then cut them all out. I ran the pink heart upside down through my Xyron sticker maker. By running it through upside down the sticky side ends up being on top. Then I added glitter. It sticks great to the adhesive and is so much less messy than glue. I added the heart border to the top matte and used embossing powder and a heat gun to make it shine. Then I added the hearts to the matte. The pink one is elevated off the matte by a mounting square to add some dimension.

Like I have said before I am not a fun of guy cards but at least on Valentine's day they can have hearts and red. I even snuck in a little pink. He was pleasantly impressed (or so he says).

Next are some treat containers that I made with my cricut Tags, Bags, and Boxes cartridge.
The first ones were for Haley's classmates. I started by cutting the template and scoring them before folding.

Once they were glued and put together I cut hearts out of a patterned paper that we ran through the sticker maker. Haley attached them and filled the boxes with candy.

The next little bags I made for Madison's Mommy to Mommy friends at church. They were only about 3inches tall and held 6-8 Hershey's kisses. Perfect for a 3 year old. She had fun handing them out.
Hope you all had a wonderful day with your loved ones.
