DIY Cupcake Liner Garland

I am finally getting back to my Bake Shop Party posts. This is a tutorial on a simple cupcake liner garland as seen on my dessert table. I had my table all set up a few hours before the party and felt like something was missing. I knew I wanted a garland but the only thing I had on hand was cupcake liners. A few minutes later I had this cutie hanging.

I started with a stack of pink polka dot cupcake liners. I stacked them all up and punched a hole directly in the middle.

Then I took some 3/8 inch pink ribbon I had on hand and thread it through my hole.

I kept them on the spool so I could continue to slide them down until I had the desired length I needed. I alternated the direction the liners went to give it some dimension. They would have just stacked inside each other if all facing the same way. It would have taken TONS of liners to create it this way.

I kept stringing them alternating as I went until I had the length I needed. It took approximately 42 liners to have the look I wanted on my 6 foot table.

Attach to your table cloth with pins underneath to finish the table. I love the pop of color.

Give it a try. Not just for a baking party. Use any color of liners for any theme. So easy and such a fast project. Enjoy!
